We do alot of business by having booths such as this one at Fiber Shows across the Midwest. Here on this page I will try to keep you informed of the shows we do and their dates and times. Our own CLOTHE FAIRE Shearing Day Event
For the past 16 years we have had our own Clothe Faire Shearing Day event right here in our own back yard. Due to physical disabilities we will no longer be able to have this event at Shepherdwoods Farm.
I would like to thank all the vendors that participated year after year and our thanks to you the public for attending.
We will still be doing some of the local fiber shows in Illinois so look for us at these events announced here on the calendar of events page.

Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival
September 2012
Held at the Jefferson County Fair Park the weekend after Labor Day this is a great three day event. Begins on Friday and runs thru Sunday. With lots of classes and vendors and activities to see.
On Saturday of the fair the Midwest Shetland Sheep Breeders Association puts on their annual Shetland Sheep Show and Sale, beginning at 12noon, as well as a huge Silent Auction from 9am to 4pm.
2011 our judges for the Shetland Sheep show on Saturday and the Shetland Fleece Show on Sunday will be from the UK - Kate Sharp and Alan Hill.
Extra events on Sunday. beginning at 10am we will be having a Shetland Fleece Contest, Shetland Handspun Yarn contest, Shetland Hand Knitted contest. Along with some Handy Shepherd classes, an information table and Breeder Display pens with Shetland sheep and Farm products from the Shetland sheep and their wool.

This year - Saturday, September 17, 9 - 4. A day of Fiber activities in Shabbona Park, Earlville, IL. Come rain or shine were are under a pavillion. Many fiber vendors, food booth, Live music and classes.
