BLACKBERRY HISTORICAL FARM, Barnes Road, Aurora. 50 Acre historical Farm/Village and Museums. Blacksmith Shop, Weavers Cabin, School House, Carriage Museum, Pinoeer Cabin, Train Ride, Carrosel Ride and Hay Wagon Ride. Another great day for family entertainment. See sheep sheared, wool spun, washed and yarn woven into fabric.
MICHIGAN FIBER FESTIVAL
August 2008
The Midwest's largest fiber show and sale. Classes Wednesday thru Friday. Vendors Friday thru Sunday. Allegan County Fairgrounds, Allegan, MI. Booths open Friday, August 18 thru Sunday, August 20. Shepherdwoods Farm Booth is located in Building 9B #58 and 59. The Shetland sheep show begins Saturday morning at 9AM.
Sandwich Fair
September 2007
The Sandwich Fair, Sandwich, IL begins the Wednesday after Labor Day. 10am to 10pm A great old time County Fair. Come see us in the Craft Demonstration Building, near the Grandstands.
Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival
September 5, 6, 7, 2008
Held at the Jefferson County Fair Park the weekend after Labor Day this is a great three day event. Begins on Friday and runs thru Sunday. With lots of classes and vendors and activities to see.
On Saturday of the fair the Midwest Shetland Sheep Breeders Association puts on their annual Shetland Sheep Show and Sale, Shetland Fleece Contest as well as a huge Silent Auction. The Auction begins at 9am and the Sheep Show begins at noon.
2008 - The Midwest Shetland Sheepbreeders Association will host the Annual General Meeting of the North American Shetland Sheepbreeders Association during the three days of the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival.
Friday we will visit local Shetland Sheep Farms and a fiber Mill.
Saturday will be the Shetland Sheep Show, Fleece Show and Silent Auction, Sunday will be all the Meeting events - lectures, talks and demonstratons by people in the Sheep farming business. Our theme is Marketing Your Shetland Sheep. The public is invited to attend, a small fee will be charged. There will be a lecture on Building Your Sheep Business with a Website and Website Design.

Bishop Hill Fiber Guild Spin-in

Blackhawk College - East Campus, Kewanee, IL. Saturday, October 20th, 9am - 4pm Vendors and Classes. Contact Char Rickey, 309-692-6344 for a class schedule. Come rain or shine it's all inside the college's lunch room and hallways. Get your registration in early and "sign" up for their wonderful homemade Luncheon or bring your own bag lunch. Door prises and "ram bucks". Lots to do and see.
STEPHENSON COUNTY FIBER FAIR
A great day, lots to see and do. Vendors and classes from 10am - 4pm. Jane Addams Community Center, Cedarville, IL.

Our own CLOTHE FAIRE Shearing Day Event

Everyone is welcome. It is a great day filled with all kinds of things to see. Sheep Shearing, Pottery Demo and Sale, Live Music with Old Time Country and Blues Revue, Wood Carver and the Fiber Vendors. The biggest hit in 2006 was the luncheon booth serving half pound Slow-smoked Pulled Pork sandwiches. That will of course be repeated in 2007. We are located at 3410 East 2375 Road, Marseilles, IL. About 4 miles south of the town of Norway, IL, just off IL Route 71
