Premium Cormo roving. Clean, white, lofty wool roving. Ohh Sooo Soft. Sold in 8 oz. balls. Just 2 pounds available. I'm told this is the perfect wool that needle felters use as their core wool for 3D felting.
Cormo sheep are a relatively new breed having been developed Australia in the 1960. Corriedale rams were bred with super fine Saxon Merino ewes. The name Cormo comes from the "blend" of names of the 2 parents Corriedale and Merino. A fast growing sheep of a medium size with a soft, heavy fleece.
A Spinners dream. Roving professionally washed and carded by Hidden Valley Woolen Mill in Wisconsin. One of only 2 mills I use to prepare our roving or yarn.
I haven't had this in the shop for the last 2 years. I'm glad it's back even for a limited time. Get yours while it's available.
