"Rag" once a term for material or old clothes ripped to make rugs on a loom. Or to cut up to make quilts. A Rag Shuttle holds the strips of sewn rag while passing over the yarn on the loom to make rugs and now a days placemats from cheaply bought material or as settlers once did from your old clothes.
Can you imagine a rug by your bed or a runner down the hall made of memories - Mom's blue dress, Dad's flannel work shirts, Jenny's jeans and Billy's old bed sheets.
These shuttles are not antiques, but they are used shuttles in excellent condition. And will be useful for many years to come.
