English Masham wool roving. I realize that a lot of handspinners enjoy spinning from a washed fleece. But Masham wool has an unusually long staple. Some times as long as 17 inches. So after importing the wool fleeces I sent some of them to a mill to have the wool processed into roving. Masham is very much like Wensleydale. Same feel, same creamy white coloring.
If you have never tried Masham, I think you will enjoy working with it. Spinning with a "new" fiber will broaden your knowledge and experience in your craft.
